Christoph Clermont is working as a Creative Director in the newsign advertising agency in Berlin. He is married and has got one son. Beside his love for a good glass of wine and his dislike for coarse wholemeal bread, Christoph Clermont is strongly convinced of the fact that nowadays creativity and technology are one.
Why did you get into digital printing? Whoever supports one-to-one-marketing knows that digital printing is indispensable. In the future, any tailor-made brochure, any individual mailing for each client is going to be a "must" in dialogue marketing. Because: today no one can afford to waste any strike power in advertising!
What in your opinion is so special about silver digital? It simply is the best!
What is the best business deal that you’ve pulled off? The shift to cable TV! I was 13 years old when I changed the TV sets of all elderly persons in my neighborhood to cable TV. Thus I earned a small fortune.
What would your dream job be, if you had the choice? By no means only one! To keep taking up new challenges, to master them and then to switch to entirely different tasks – that is my philosophy of satisfactory work!
What is your favorite piece of print? I love to touch this type of menu ...
What’s the strangest job you’ve ever done? To walk a sheep in the center of town. The sheep was the model in a photo shooting session and needed some relaxation.
What’s your greatest ambition? The perfect advertising medium! And to benefit from a maximum of state-of-the-art technologies to create it.
