(Bergisch Gladbach, 02 September 2003) Both M-real Zanders mills, the Gohrsmühle mill in Bergisch Gladbach and the Reflex mill in Düren have been awarded multiple certificates. These certificates, from the IQNet (International Certification Network) and the DQS (German society for the certification of management systems), are proof of the introduction and application of a quality and environment management system. Furthermore, it has been certified that both M-real Zanders mills have introduced and apply an occupational health and safety management system.

With the three certificates, that were handed over in Bergisch Gladbach today, it was confirmed that M-real Zanders had introduced a quality and environment management system according to DIN EN ISO 9001 : 2000, DIN EN ISO 14001. Furthermore, confirmation is given to both M-real Zanders mills that they apply an occupational health and safety management system. This fulfills the requirements of the specification OHSAS 18001 : 1999. All the quality, environment and occupational health and safety management processes at M-real Zanders are integrated and process-oriented. This ensures consistent quality. According to the paper makers' trade association, M-real Zanders mills are one of the safest mills in the German paper industry.
