The spotlight Awards 2001 - M-real Digital Imaging Papers Award for Design and Digital Colour Printing
The Paper and Print Focus Awards ceremony was put on the first time in 1989. Since then, the purpose has been to raise the profile of the most creative, innovative and technically complex carrier of information – paper and board products. This year, winners, guests, and sponsors gathered to celebrate the inspiration and brilliance found in 15 different categories. The awards were presented for creative work using printing and publishing papers, business papers, packaging papers and boards. Entries ranged from brochures to greeting cards, from calendars to promotional displays, from newspapers and magazine to posters and many more end uses.
M-real Digital Imaging sponsors the award for “Design and Digital Colour Printing”. It was a pleasure to find out that the jury selected Mr. Hider from CTD Capital Digital in Twickenham, Middlesex, UK, as the winner for the digital colour printing competition. At the presentation dinner on November 5th at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London, Mr. Hider received the award trophy for his entry “Lisboa Brochure”, printed on Silverblade Digital Matt 340 gsm.
